They are well suited for light metals, i.e. aluminum and brass. They are resistant to moisture, water, lubricants and alcohol. They are often used as a primer or top coat. They are particularly applicable to bridges, power plants, and pipelines.Chlorinated rubber paints are used for metal and concrete. They work well as anti-corrosion decorative paints. They are covered with elements outside and inside buildings. They do an excellent job with alkaline and acidic substances. They also do not allow water vapor to pass through. They are especially used to paint railings and fences.The last type of anti-corrosion paints is silicone paints. They work particularly well in the automotive industry. They are covered by automotive components such as, for example, engine components.
