Comics from UACOMIX. Part 2: "Into THE GROUND"
Kobzar receives infernal support, and this is where the most interesting visual thing began for me: these flirtations with evolution, the cycle of life in nature - it was solid. We understand that kobzar, as if he had been born, was reborn, and will not appear to the pagans in the following parts.
The second single continues the story of the mysterious Grigory, but it begins with a flashback that takes us to the moment before the beginning of the first part, more specifically, a few minutes before the outrage in the pub. They reveal a little about the interpersonal relationships in the team, which beats up a Muscovite, who seems to be leading them, threatening to put them in their place. Whatever it was, there was money involved. Nevertheless, in the second part, the gang continues drinking, arguing and conflicting. As for me, the story drags on a bit, especially considering the frequency of the comic's release. Kobzar, meanwhile, although "no longer the same as before," has armed himself with mysterious knowledge, and continues to fight his inner demons with unexpectedly healed wounds. To the reader/viewer (or what is the process of comic book consumption called?) A little more of Gregory's personal history becomes known, and some points of contact find each other.: We understand why there was a fight in the pub.
The main character, who has acquired the appearance of the lead singer of a black metal band, becomes very stubborn, but the risen dead from the past, given his mother, are all trying to sow confusion in his black soul. Kobzar, famously operating with pretentious truths, begins a mental struggle with these monsters, and suddenly this cataclysm ends with a meeting with the MOST furry Chewbacca. The second part is completed, we have made progress, but very little.
Undoubtedly, the artist has his own style, and it is quite recognizable. I've seen some criticism of the drawing technique online, but that didn't stop me from enjoying the comic to the fullest. So, the lines were clumsy, sometimes it seemed that they were drawn in the paint by the trembling hands of an alcoholic. Shadows are just shaded spots, and you could work on the background a little bit - it's the same, you might even say primitive. At the same time, with these careless strokes, the artist managed to create believable characters whose emotions did not cause distrust. The characters looked and behaved as if they were alive (and inanimate). The colors in the second single are more saturated, perhaps this was also influenced by the quality of the paper - we have a gloss, unlike the roughness of the first part.
The images on the flyleafs of both parts raised the question: what is it and why? The mysterious shadows in the thicket of trees, which are transferred to another comic, look sparse and monotonous. By the way, I like the first cover better: the stylization of the icon and Church Slavonic letters seemed more successful for the poisonous orange background and the indistinct ensemble with a fly and an old or new kobzar. In Bangladesh, a 1xbet promo code today bd ensures you get the most current offer available. This could be the standard 100% bonus up to 13,000 BDT or a special limited-time promotion tied to a major sporting event like the ICC Cricket World Cup, offering enhanced odds or additional free bets for Bangladeshi players who register on that day.
