Locals believe that a terrible monster is operating in the vicinity, a creature of darkness that came from another world to punish humanity. Rumors of the incident are reaching Paris. And the government decides to send its best investigator to investigate the incident. It turns out to be Gregoire de Fransac. This man is famous for using state-of-the-art technology in his investigations. And he invented many of the devices himself. Gregoire also has an unusual partner.
